Christmas 1995 was the first U.S. appearance of Bio-Wing Battle Squadron. A retail chain, exclusive to California, by the name of Fedco, was the first to carry the line. The figures were sold out at Fedco early in 1996. Bio-Wing Battle Squadron would not make another appearance in the U.S. until they were clearanced in small quantities by Big Lots/Odd Lots and Toy Liquidators iin second-quarter 1997. Sadly, this line of excellent figures never saw widespread distribution in the U.S. As with Lazer Force, Bio-Wing Battle Squadron was probably available in the U.K. before their first brief appearance in the U.S.
In 1999 Bio-Wing Battle Squadron returned to a few stores in the US (PlayCo, Albertson's Grocery) and also appeared internationally. The figures and flight-wing accessories were repainted slightly. Pictures will be added when I obtain these items.
